Which of your data is processed by us? And for what purposes?
We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the job (or other open positions in our company, if applicable) and to carry out the application process.
What is the legal framework for this?
The legal foundation for the processing of your personal data in this application process is primarily General Data Protection Regulation (§26 BDSG). Thereafter, the processing of the data that is necessary in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship is permitted. If the data may be necessary for legal prosecution after the application process has been completed, data processing can be based on the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular for the protection of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest then lies in the assertion or defense against claims.
How long will the data be stored?
Applicants' data will be deleted after 6 months in case your application was not successful. In the event that you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There the data will be deleted after two years. If you have been awarded a job as part of the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.
Who are the recipients of the data?
We use a specialized software provider for the application process. This acts as a service provider for us and may also receive knowledge of your personal data in connection with the maintenance and care of the systems. We have concluded a so-called order processing contract with this provider, which ensures that the data processing takes place in a permissible manner. Your applicant data will be viewed by the HR department after your application has been received. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to those responsible for the respective position. Then the further process is coordinated. In principle, only those persons in the company have access to your data who need this for the proper execution of our application process.
Where is the data processed?
The data is processed exclusively in data centers in Germany.
